I see a few complaining about pulling and it's simply your hair is too long. Keep cutting it back until it doesn't pull and this will be the max length. The wooden handle fixes the handling of it for me, hence coming here to post my updated thoughts.  Just to clarify that the handle fixes it for my hands that don't grip things easy. It's a me thing not a device thing.

I also got some hand clippers and they work exceptionally well. I know it all took a while and from my standpoint it was worth it."
